An Entrepreneur, Thought Leader, Columnist, and Author of the book ‘India’s Turn‘, Mr. Gupta wears several hats. Notable to mention that the book has been included as a reference book in the Indian National Parliament Library.
On the work front, he is the Managing Director of Red Seal Measurement Ltd and CleanFUEL India Autogas Private Limited. Mr Gupta is also the Founder Trustee & Director General of Industry Body, Indian Auto LPG Coalition- since 2002, recently elected for yet another term..

He represents India on the World LPG Association’s Core Group on Global Autogas Industry Network, with other representatives being one each from US, Australia, Turkey, South Korea, Australia and the European Association.
Mr Gupta is a Bachelor of Business Administration and also completed an Executive Programme in “Public Policy in India” from The Indian School of Business (ISB).
Mr Gupta is a known Alternate Fuel and Energy Expert with his interviews and columns appearing regularly in several leading national dailies and magazines. He has authored several publications, articles, chaired important sessions and presented several papers Globally on the Indian LPG and Autogas Scenario.

More recently, he has also been known as the man who changed New Delhi’s International Airport Terminal ‘T3’, when a series of Mr Gupta’s tweets, were noticed and responded to, by the Hon’ble Civil Aviation Minister of India. Following Mr Gupta’s tweets and the Minister’s subsequent decision, a major infrastructural upgradation of Delhi’s airport – for passenger convenience, was announced by the government and massively welcomed by media globally.
The company CleanFUEL India, holds a National ‘ALDS Operator’ License, from PESO, Ministry of Commerce & Industry and is Rated as #1 by a leading research agency. Through this, the company sets up Auto LPG Dispensing Stations across the Country with Company Owned and Franchisee Owned Outlets.
Mr Gupta is also on the Board of other companies, including Global Passive Safety Systems (India) Pvt Ltd, which is a Joint Venture with Lifeguard Technologies Inc, USA, manufacturing ‘Life Guard’ Self Closing High Pressure and LPG Hoses for Bulk Unloading; and on HT Systems (P) Ltd, being National Business Associates for Indian Oil Corporation Ltd and also exclusive Indian Partners for Cavagna Group, Italy, for LPG and natural gas products..
Been very closely associated with the Indian LPG Industry since 1993, Mr Gupta represents IAC on apex committees of Union Ministry of Road Transport & Highways, Government of India, being a member of Standing Committee on Emissions (SCoE) & Central Motor Vehicle Rules (Technical Standing Committee). He has also had an opportunity to be a consultant to National Energy Technology Laboratory, US Department of Energy and been the in-country coordinator for Clean Cities International, a program of US Department of Energy, aiming to promote the use of cleaner alternative fuel in India for Cleaner air.
Having worked in close coordination with United States Agency for International Development (US-AID) and US-AEP (United States Asia Environment partnership), he has had an opportunity to be one of the initiators and founding members of the Indian Auto LPG Coalition. Recently appointed unanimously for a fifth term as the Coalition’s Director General, his efforts are believed to be the cornerstone of uniting all industry stakeholders including ministries, Govt. sector and private sector oil companies and all associated industries such as station builders, equipment companies, vehicle manufacturers and engine kit manufacturers.
Mr Gupta is a multi-linguistic person, very widely travelled both internationally and domestically!! He is also the Founder Trustee of the non-profit Ujjwalam Foundation, formed to make meaningful contributions and give back to society.
Mr Gupta is an optimist, very dedicated, motivated, aggressive and perfectionist with a commitment to consistently endeavor for excellence!!
On a personal front, he hails from the Indian State of Rajasthan – having strong roots in Varanasi..
An avid Indian Classical music connoisseur, Mr Gupta has had an opportunity to perform Indian Classical, Vocal, on All India Radio, New Delhi for more than a decade, during which he also had a chance to appear on a couple of National TV Channels as a Young Achiever as well as give public performances, including that at India International Centre, New Delhi and also at the Triveni Kala Sangam. He has also been fortunate to be the founder of Indian Classical Music portal www.hindustaniclassical.com, which has been dedicated to the service of
Classical Music community since 1999. The portal, today, is considered to be one of the most credible resources for information and updates on Indian Classical Music.
Meanwhile, music is more than just a hobby or passion for him… (Time permitting) he has always planned to devote more time to it than he ever did… In recent years, he did manage to record and release a few songs on YouTube. He found it overwhelming to receive incredible messages from dear ones and blessings from those unknown.. This encouraged him to launch his first Music Album “Zindagi,a Rendezvous‘, which was released in December 2012 for private circulation and was very well accepted..He feels very motivated for more such efforts whenever time permits..
Mr Gupta feels immensely grateful and fortunate to have been able to create green field institutions, organizations and businesses, backed of course, by a very good and committed team each time. He feels privileged and proud that his Industry body, IAC – formed in 2002, School Alumnus body, ASFA (which he also leads as its President) since 2008, as well as businesses built from scratch since the late 90s are all doing well today!! He is also on the Board of Governors of his alma mater. He is also an avid reader and writer.
He has been working on another book now, that he hopes to see the light of day possibly early next year.
